More information about RARE Leo #3 Grafted Atemoya Fruit Tree - fantastic Flavor, Extreme Tropical Flavor

You are purchasing a grafted tree similar to the one pictured, about 1-2 feet tall.

Leo #3 Atemoya is one of the premier tasting Annona varieties available.

This variety was bred by the distinguished grower Leo Manuel in San Diego. He created this gorgeous fruit by crossing an Atemoya (Cherimoya X Sugar Apple) back with another Cherimoya. The result was a fruit with an exotic appearance, flavor as good as any cherimoya, and easier to grow in the United States.

The flavor of Leos #3 Atemoya is incredibly complex, with almost exaggerated tropical flavors. The fruit retains certain chewy qualities from its sugar apple genetics, but is undeniably sweet and melting in the mouth. Few have had fruit this flavorful.

I have seen this variety sold as guanamoya due to its flavor being reminiscent of soursop.
