More information about 19th Century Cantonese (Puzzle Ball) Hand-carved Ivory Chess Set, HUGE

This stunning 19th century Cantonese hand-carved ivory chess set is a true masterpiece. With intricate details and stunning craftsmanship, this set is sure to impress any collector or enthusiast. The pieces are all special and one-of-a-kind, making it a rare addition to any collection. The set includes 32 pieces, featuring both white and black (tan-colored) chess pieces.

The provenance of this set is not available, but it is known to have originated from China. This set is handmade and would make a fabulous addition to any home or office. It is a flawless example of Chinese culture and is a must-have for any collector. I own several ivory chess sets, and this is far and away the largest I have ever seen, with exquisitely carved puzzle balls. The king pieces are a full 7 1/2 “ tall, and the chess board — the interior of which has seen better days — is a full 2 feet on a side.

dispatch will be incredibly pricey. About $70.
