Vintage Woven Basket Decoupage Western/Americana Theme Purse

This one-of-a-kind basket looks like it was originally made to be used as a purse. It has a hinge and is cloth lined and belonged to my great-aunt who purchased it while traveling in the US in the 1960s.Approx. 6” high, nearly 6.5” wide and 4” deep, the handmade wooden basket has what appear to be old magazine or newspaper clippings throughout the top and sides. A very Americana look with images from a little boy and girl, American flag and toy images.In excellent condition given age. impeccable for everyday use. first-class materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
