It was the first to produce this blue-printed china design in America. Made in New York.The Legend of the Blue Willow depicts the famous Chinese legend of a wealthy man whose daughter falls in love with his clerk. The young couple elopes, and the father pursues them through his garden and onto the bridge where they transform into lovebirds and fly off beyond his reach.We do not alter any items sold; they are listed the way they were found.
