Quarter bound in leather with gilt lettering to spine. Decorative marbled endpapers and outer edges of text block. With illustration, including several full color pages. A truly clean set for their age. Some rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges, including bumped corners. Hinges appear to have possibly been reinforced or repaired - binding remains quite firm on the whole though there are a few instances where binding is visible in gutters.
