Vintage 1948/1950's Bronze Ashtray from Patrick Air Force Base in Florida
This is a special piece from in the forties to fifties from the Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. See close up in the photos. The color doesn't quite come through in the photos but is made of bronze with a heavy patina. I will leave it to the buyer to clean it in case they want to keep it that way.The embellishments on this astray are a plane in the center and the name Patrick Air Force Base around the outer edge. It measures 5 1/2 in across. 1 1/2 high Approximately 1/2 deep in the center. This ashtray is remarkably heavy for its size.Patrick Space Force Base (IATA: COF, ICAO: KCOF, FAA LID: COF) is a United States Space Force installation located between Satellite Beach and Cocoa Beach, in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is named in honor of Major General Mason Patrick, USAAC.
